Landscaping companies

Advertising for landscaping that wins patios, not just mowing quotes.

Octomize runs Google Ads and Meta Ads for landscaping companies. We split design and hardscape projects from maintenance contracts, plan budgets around your season, and qualify quote requests before they reach you. Won jobs and their value go back to Google, so the budget follows the work that pays.

What's included

  • Google Ads Search split into design, hardscape, maintenance and seasonal work
  • Service-area targeting set by how far each crew travels
  • Photo-led Meta Ads built from your own finished projects
  • Quote forms that ask for project type, budget range and timing
  • Call tracking and offline conversion imports for site visits and won jobs
  • A seasonal budget plan agreed before spring

What makes landscaping advertising different

Landscaping is two businesses in one account. Design, build and hardscape projects, such as patios, retaining walls and outdoor kitchens, bring large one-off jobs after a site visit and a quote. Maintenance contracts bring smaller recurring revenue and fill crew routes. Each needs its own keywords, ads, landing page and service area.

Demand moves with the weather. Homeowners plan projects in late winter and spring, maintenance peaks in summer, and cleanup and snow work take over later in some markets. A flat monthly budget overspends when your crews are booked out and runs dry when you have capacity.

Search terms also mix in people you can’t sell to: DIY questions, landscaping jobs, and mulch or stone buyers. Strong negatives and a quote form that asks for project type, budget range and timing keep those out of your inbox.

What we run for landscapers

Google Ads Search sits at the core, split by service and targeted to the towns your crews reach. Meta Ads carries your best project photos and before-and-after clips to homeowners nearby, which suits design work people plan for months. Call tracking shows which keyword produced each call. Offline conversion imports then report site visits, quotes and won jobs with their value, so bidding favors a hardscape job over a one-off mow. Our home services advertising guide covers seasonal planning in more depth.

Where we work

Landscaping companies in the United States, the United Kingdom and the EU. See our lead generation page for how we run lead campaigns for home services.

How it works

  1. 01

    Map your work

We go through what a patio, a full design and a maintenance contract are worth to you, when each sells, and which towns each crew covers.

  2. 02

    Track quotes to jobs

We set up call and form tracking, then connect your CRM or job sheet, so Google sees which requests became a site visit, a quote and a signed job.

  3. 03

    Launch by service and season

Project and maintenance campaigns go live as separate campaigns, with negatives for DIY, jobs and supply searches, and the photos that sell each one.

  4. 04

    Follow the season

We raise spend ahead of your busy months, pull it back when the crews are full, and bid toward the jobs with the highest value.

What we do: the system

We don't just run ads. We own everything that determines outcomes.

  1. 01 · Strategy

    Digital strategy

Before we touch an account, we set the plan: which channels, what budget, what a lead or a sale is worth to you, and what we test first.

    • Channel mix and budget split
    • Target CPA or ROAS set from your margins
    • A 90-day plan with clear milestones
  2. 02 · Landing page

    Landing pages + CRO

Most paid traffic is lost on the page, not in the ad. We build or rework the page around one offer and one action, then keep improving it on real visitor behavior.

    • New pages or fixes to the ones you have
    • Message matched to the ad and the search
    • CRO roadmap from session recordings
  3. 03 · Tracking

    Tracking & measurement

If the numbers are wrong, every optimization is a guess. We set up tracking that holds up against ad blockers and cookie limits, and send real outcomes back to the ad platforms.

    • GA4 and GTM, client- and server-side
    • Enhanced Conversions and Meta CAPI
    • Offline imports: qualified lead, booked call, closed deal
  4. 04 · Ads

    Performance marketing

With the plan, the page and the tracking in place, we build the campaigns and optimize them every week on real data.

    • Google Ads and Meta Ads builds or restructures
    • Keyword, audience and creative testing
    • Bidding toward profit, not just volume
  5. 05 · Reporting

    Profit-focused reporting

You see sales, profit and lead quality, the numbers your business runs on, not clicks and impressions.

    • KPIs agreed with you up front
    • ProfitMetrics when margin data is available
    • Regular updates in plain English
  6. 06 · Growth

    Business growth support

Once the system runs, the data shows where else you can grow. We bring you the ideas.

    • New products or services the data points to
    • New channels and markets to test
    • Offer and pricing ideas from what converts

FAQ

Questions we get asked.

Is Google Ads or Meta better for landscaping?

They do different jobs. Google Ads Search catches people already asking for a landscaper or a patio quote. Meta Ads shows your finished work to homeowners who are still picturing their garden. Most landscapers who sell design and hardscape work use both.

How do I get fewer mowing leads and more patio jobs?

Separate campaigns, keywords and pages for project work, and a quote form that asks what the project is and its budget range. Then we import won jobs with their value, so Google bids harder for searches that turn into patios and walls.

What do you do in the off-season?

It depends on what you sell in winter. Some landscapers switch to snow removal or holiday lighting, others take design bookings for spring. We plan the campaigns and budget for your calendar before the season starts.

Can I show ads only in the towns we serve?

Yes. We target the towns or the radius your crews reach, and we can set a wider area for large design projects than for weekly maintenance routes.

Do we need our own photos?

Yes, and Meta needs them most. Homeowners want to see work you built, so we ask for project photos and short clips and build the ads around them.
