PPC Agency, Freelancer or In-House? A UK Cost Guide

Dental practices
Octomize runs Google Ads and Meta Ads for dental practices in the US, UK and EU. We split emergency, new-patient and high-value treatments like implants into their own campaigns, track the phone calls where many bookings start, and send attended appointments back to Google. If you're comparing dental marketing companies, ask each one what it reports on: we report on new patients and treatment value.
What's included
A dental account mixes three kinds of searcher. Someone with a toothache at 9 pm wants a number to call and an appointment tomorrow. A family that just moved wants a dentist near home who takes their insurance. Someone researching implants, veneers or aligners compares practices for weeks and asks about financing before booking a consult. One campaign for all three wastes money on each.
Many bookings start with a phone call, and some calls from your ads come from existing patients who searched your name to reach the front desk. If those count as conversions, Google learns to find people who already know you. We track calls with a minimum length, tag new patients, and import offline conversions for attended appointments, so no-shows stop looking like wins.
Ad policy shapes the build too. Google’s personalized advertising policy restricts audience targeting for surgical procedures, which can apply to implant and oral surgery ads. Meta’s personal attributes policy rejects copy that implies something about the viewer’s health, so “Embarrassed by your smile?” won’t run.
Google Ads Search carries most of the work: emergency campaigns scheduled for the hours you can answer, new-patient campaigns on a tight local radius, and treatment campaigns with a wider radius, because patients drive further for implants than for a cleaning. Meta Ads adds reach for implant, veneer and aligner consults. Each treatment gets a landing page that answers price and financing questions before the call. See how we run lead generation, and if you’re a specialist practice, our page for orthodontists.

How it works
We list which treatments you want more of, what a new patient is worth to you and how far patients travel for each one. That sets the campaigns, the radius and the target cost per patient.
We set up call tracking with a minimum call length and a way to mark new versus existing patients, so a regular calling to reschedule doesn't count as a lead.
Emergency searches, routine new-patient searches and implant or cosmetic searches each get their own campaign, budget, ad copy and landing page.
Once you export attended appointments or accepted treatment plans from your practice software, we import them, so Google bids for patients who show up.
What we do: the system
Before we touch an account, we set the plan: which channels, what budget, what a lead or a sale is worth to you, and what we test first.
Most paid traffic is lost on the page, not in the ad. We build or rework the page around one offer and one action, then keep improving it on real visitor behavior.
If the numbers are wrong, every optimization is a guess. We set up tracking that holds up against ad blockers and cookie limits, and send real outcomes back to the ad platforms.
With the plan, the page and the tracking in place, we build the campaigns and optimize them every week on real data.
You see sales, profit and lead quality, the numbers your business runs on, not clicks and impressions.
Once the system runs, the data shows where else you can grow. We bring you the ideas.

FAQ
Yes, when the account separates intent. A person searching for an emergency dentist at night, a family looking for a new dentist and someone researching implants want different things, and each needs its own ads, budget and landing page.
Check before you build them. Google's personalized advertising policy restricts advertiser-curated audiences such as remarketing and Customer Match for ads about surgical procedures, and implant and oral surgery ads can fall under that. We keep implant and oral surgery campaigns apart from your general dentistry ones, so a restriction on one doesn't limit the other.
Yes. We use call tracking on ads and on the website, count calls above a minimum length, and work with your front desk on a simple way to mark which callers became new patients.
We work in your own ad accounts, so the data and the patients stay yours, and you talk to the two founders who run the campaigns. We don't resell leads or tie you to a website platform.
